How long does delivery take?
Within the Netherlands and Belgium, you can usually expect delivery within 1–3 business days. Around holidays and sales events, delivery services may be busier, which could result in your package taking an extra day to arrive.
What are the shipping costs?
Shipping costs are automatically calculated during checkout. Orders above a certain amount qualify for free shipping; currently, this is from approximately €49, but the exact amount is always clearly stated at the top of the website and in your shopping cart.
Will I receive a tracking code?
Yes. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking code so you can see exactly where your package is and when it will be delivered.
Can I return or exchange my order?
You can return unopened and undamaged products within the statutory reflection period. Always register your return with our customer service first and follow the instructions in our return policy on the website. The terms and steps can be found under “Return Policy” in the footer.
My order arrived damaged, what should I do?
Of course, this is not what we want. Take photos of the packaging and the damage immediately, and contact us. Together, we will find an appropriate solution, such as a replacement product or a refund.

What exactly is extra virgin olive oil?
Extra virgin olive oil is the highest quality category: pressed without chemical refinement, with very low acidity and a pure, fruity flavor profile. All Yakelos oils fall into this category.
What is the difference between regular olive oil and extra virgin olive oil?
“Regular” olive oil is often a blend of refined oil with a small portion of extra virgin. Extra virgin olive oil, by contrast, is completely unrefined and cold-pressed, retaining far more flavor and natural nutrients.

How should I store olive oil?
Store the bottle in a cool, dark place, such as a kitchen cupboard, away from direct sunlight and heat sources like the stove. Always close the bottle tightly after use to minimize exposure to air.
How long does olive oil stay fresh?
Our organic olive oil is generally good for 18–24 months when unopened. The best-before date is printed on the packaging. After opening, we recommend using the oil within 6–12 months for optimal flavor and quality.
My oil is cloudy or has small particles in it—is that normal?
Yes, this mainly occurs at lower temperatures. Olive oil can partially solidify, causing cloudiness or small white flakes. This does not indicate a quality problem. Simply bring the bottle to room temperature and the oil will clear up naturally.
The flavor of my new bottle tastes slightly different, why is that?
Olive oil is a natural product. Factors such as harvest year, climate, and exact harvest timing can slightly affect the flavor. We maintain strict quality control, but small variations between batches are normal.
